Dr. Barba has been practicing in primary care for many years since originally studying at the University of Guadalajara and then working in the emergency department in San Pancho. He enjoys listening to patients needs, using the time and space permitted in this private practice to serve patients completely and compassionately. He makes sure to stay up informed on recent medical findings so that his care in accordance with the most up-to-date research and health guidelines.

Hours: Tues./Thurs. (8am - 1pm)

Dr. Miguel brings many years of experience and training in a variety of fields (including ATLS and laparoscopy). Originally trained as a general surgeon, he graduated from the University of Guadalajara and completed post-graduate studies at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico. Dr. Miguel makes a point of always serving with integrity and professionalism in his practice. He is one of our doctors that specializes in minor surgeries. 

Hours: Monday - Friday (9am-3pm)

Dr. Isiordia studied medicine at La Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit. After much time working in first-line care, she plans to specialize further in internal medicine.  Her patient care is incredibly clinical, thoughtful, and personable. She works to serve patients in a way that truly renders best outcomes that are specific to each patients' personal needs and desires. 

Hours: Monday - Friday (3pm - 8pm)

Dr. Tomas Eduardo dedicates his weekends to working at our clinic, helping us maintain the ability to serve patients' needs every day. He studied medicine at La Universidad Xochicalco (Tijuaja Campus). As a rigorous academic and learner, he is constantly reading medical journals and observing new methods, allowing him to fine-tune and adjust his own patient-care. 

Hours: Sat. (9am-8pm), Sun.(9am-5pm)

Yaki has a passion for providing kind and quality patient-care. She received her nursing degree from the Universidad de Ciencias de la Enfermeria de Mexico in Mexico City and has been providing compassionate, patient-centric care since graduating in 2023. 

Otavio has worked with Dr. Chavez for 6 years, managing a number of administrative tasks at our clinic and attached pharmacy. Otavio serves patients with kindness and professionalism, and is an integral part of ensuring our patient care and clinical operations run smoothly. 

Alma has been managing the operations of our pharmacy for three years. She works to ensure patients are receiving the correct medications and are accurately charged for usage. Her know-how and warm disposition allows our clinic to retain a uniquely personalized quality. 

Dr. Leon works closely with our team from his office in Guadalajara to manage insurance coverage. While we meet with patients in the clinic, he uses basic insurance information provided by patients to gauge coverage. As a certified physician, he is able to validate and explain medical necessity for treatments, advocating that patients be covered for our services. 

Sophia began working as a volunteer at the clinic before eventually taking on a more full-time role to assist travelers with their insurance and physicians with their clinical care throughout the day. She is able use her work as a former EMT  in San Francisco, CA and expertise in health systems (with a Public Health degree from UC Berkeley) to help patients cover costs and uniquely assist the clinic with its patient-services.
